Oh High School Life!

After graduating elementary level. I moved out to a different school which is in the heart of the city and probably the school with a population nearing 10,000 or more. Dagupan City National High School.

It's a public school but has three classes: The Regular Class, The Special Science Class, and The Special Arts class. These classes are distinguished by their uniform color; blue for Regulars, Green for Science, and red for Arts. Initially the school only had Regular Classes, they only implemented the two other classes last 2008. This was the very first time my parents ever thought of bring their child to study in a public school and if wasn't for the new curriculum, they wouldn't even put me there.

I was part of the Special Science Class and the 3rd batch of freshmen to ever study in that class. I admit transferring has its fun, the sense of adventure, of meeting new people and going to new places. It was fun. Until I found out that half of class hated me because of how close I am to the teachers. They called me sip sip and fake. The reason they called me that is because I was only following the rules and growing up in an environment I was before; where teachers and students are more intimate with each other,it was unavoidable. This went on until my 2nd year in high school.

My second year was a mix of love and hate.

Love because I met a guy in the other science class who became my friend because he wanted to court my classmate whom, I admit, is very pretty. In some ways, we became friends by me acting Cupid in the relationship that never came to be. His name is Darius. My classmates saw my fondness with Darius and made us a pair that went on for quite sometime. Knowing the real story of our friendship, I let it slide but being naive of love and the egging on of my classmates, I fell for Darius and his boyish ways. We had some quarrels, that was noticeable to the class and for sometime it was the talk of the show. Eventually, it died a natural death with busy school work and me being continuously being bullied that all I wanted was to leave the school and all it has.

If your wondering if Darius ever helped me with my bully problem, he didn't because I didn't tell him and it was not much of a problem being the "it couple" back then. Darius is a good guy but we were never more than an acquaintance.

What the most painful thing about being bullied back then is that they judge every thing about me even my religion. I am a very religious person back then and being judge back then together with the other judgement they throw at me, I gave up and told my parents. It was a hard year and I just wanted it to end.

Though with all the bullying, I had a best friend there. Her name is Millette and she is one of the smartest and kindest. When I left that school, I left her and that was painful because she too was bullied like me but she was stronger than me. Now I have no idea how she is doing with her college because I didn't have the chance to communicate with her as time progresses.

For the first two years of my high school life; I was bullied and fell in love.
